Litany of Sorrows

Karl von Richter, a handsome young German with a sinister future is injured skiing in the Italian Alps. Nursed to health by Katrina Amorino, they fall in love. Unaware Germany is preparing for war, she naively moves to his home, but before he arrives, he is drafted into the SS and he sone begins implementing Hitler's deadly Final Solution to eliminate Jews and other deplorables. His last Nazi task ended, he heads home and finds his parents dead, and Katrina and their child missing. Karl's conscience reawakens as he searches for Katrina who is hiding in fear and agonizing over her impetuous decisions which become her litany of sorrows for decades to come.
